MISSION STATEMENT
Greenshave Services and all of it’s employees are committed to a professional and safety conscious approach to all the work we do. Trees are assessed on an individual basis with respect to pruning/cutting requirements and the risks involved. Individual tree risk assessments are filed and can be produced for people in appropriate positions within the customer’s staff. Depending on the risk assessment each tree will be approached in an appropriate manner (climbed, pruned from ground, or with the use of our M.E.W.P.). All equipment is inspected regularly, and subjected to L.O.L.E.R. inspections as required. Any certification not carried can be produced if required. All climbers are suitably trained and can produce certificates if asked. All M.E.W.P. operators are suitably trained and can produce certificates if asked. Suitable PPE is worn when required. The area of operation will be cordoned off if necessary depending on risk assessment and the specific site. If this is not possible, traffic/pedestrian control may be necessary. It may also be a requirement that alternative parking be found for vehicles in and around the area of operation. All arisings will be disposed of in a suitable manner, the majority being chipped or otherwise recycled, either on site or removed for treatment back at our base. All work areas will be left in a safe and tidy state at the end of each work period and swept and tidied at the end of the job. If for any reason there is a deviation from this, a suitable person on the customer’s staff will be informed, and the area left cordoned off and suitably signed. At the end of the job, a suitable member of the customer’s staff will be asked to approve the result of the job before the team leader leaves the site. |
